Oral Roberts hits first CWS inside-the-park home run in 20 years

One of the most exciting and rare plays in baseball happened Sunday evening with Oral Robers trailing the Florida Gators 5-1 in the seventh inning and trying to fight its way back into the game.

Hogan smashed a fly ball to deep left field that took a fortunate bounce off the wall and rolled away from two Florida outfielders, giving him an opportunity to speed around the bases.

Hogan's is the first inside-the-park home run hit at the College World Series since Chris Burke managed one in 2001 for Tennessee.
